As the world becomes more and more complex, and requires valid and freely accessible analysis about such complexity; the Virtual Department of Political and Social Studies offers a highly valued and entirely self-funded platform.

The goal is to promote ideas and discussion on issues like free access to scientific knowledge, the popularization of it, the utilization of NICT and multimedia resources, in simple language without being too simplistic.

The implementation of the present phase of the Dot 2.0 project aims at establishing specific sections (economics&policies, political parties, political languages, international relations and conflicts) for the study and the popularization of areas of political and social interest.

The expected impact concerns PhD candidates and researchers (within and without the Department of Political Studies of Turin), who are interested in popularization and promotion of discussion about their research.
