“Dot 2.0” is a dynamic web portal which has been created in May 2009, thanks to the initiative of the PhD students of the two departments of political studies and social sciences, University of Turin (“Dot” stand for “dottorando”, the Italian term for PhD student).

Conceived as a sort of IntraNet, an instrument of internal communication, it's time for it to overcome the frontiers of the academic framework, in order to sow the seeds of new relations, with members of that civil society which the political and social sciences are supposed to investigate.
